Description

RN - Modified Care Unit

Job Overview

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Schedule: 12-hour nights, every other weekend, float as needed
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Inpatient registered nurse role caring for a primarily adult patient population.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of telemetry experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with MI (myocardial infarction) patients
Experience working with CHF (congestive heart failure) patients
Experience working with COPD patients
Experience working with stroke patients
Experience working with stable arrhythmia patients

Education

Minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for RN licensure
Associate’s degree in nursing

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree in nursing
