RN Medicine Specialty
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with a range of health problems.
- Core duties include patient assessment and monitoring, medication administration, IV and blood product management, documentation, assisting with examinations and minor procedures, patient/family education, care coordination, and delegation to support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
- Charge experience
- Skills in nursing theory, nursing techniques, organization, planning, coordination, evaluation, communication, cultural responsiveness, and basic computer use
