Description

RN - PACU

Job Overview

Location: Madison, Indiana
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Contract length: 24 weeks
Call requirement: Includes call, with every 10th weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Role Summary

Provides direct nursing care for a group of patients in the PACU
Performs assessments, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient response, and provides patient/family education
Delegates tasks, mentors/precepts staff, supports teamwork, and participates in quality and safety improvement efforts
