Description
Surgical Tech - Travel
Location
- Summit, New Jersey
Schedule
- PM shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- CST
- High school diploma or GED
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of surgical patients
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs during procedures
- Maintain the sterile field and support safe patient care in the operating room
- Follow physician and RN instructions and adhere to operating room policies
- Practice standard precautions and maintain a safe environment
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking
