Description

Surgical Technologist

Location

Paducah, Kentucky

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Call: 1 night per week and every 4th weekend
Must be willing to help in other pods as needed

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist (7 years of experience)
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
NBSTSA or NCCT

Key Responsibilities

Scrub for operative procedures and maintain the sterile field
Pass instruments and assist the physician during surgical cases
Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts
Assist with draping, patient positioning, and post-case cleanup
Handle gross decontamination and transport of instruments to Central Sterile Processing
Ensure the surgical suite is disinfected, stocked, and ready for the next procedure
