• 12-hour shifts

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination.
• Uses the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to support patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• RN license

Key Responsibilities

• Performs and documents comprehensive patient assessments
• Develops and updates care plans based on patient needs and interprofessional input
• Implements nursing therapies and procedures within scope of practice
• Communicates changes in patient condition and responds appropriately
• Delegates tasks and oversees team members involved in patient care
• Supports discharge planning and discharge teaching
• Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
