Description
Schedule: pharmacy is open 0800-1800 Monday through Friday and 0900-1500 weekends and holidays. Candidate should expect to work a mixture of these shifts. We don’t guarantee schedules as needs can’t be assured
Float: between facilities 3 days Aurora/1 day Denver (approx.- may change as needs of the business change)

Qualifications/Skills:
- Required Certifications: BLS through AHA
- State Licensure Requirements: Colorado BOP (must be attached to submission)
- Minimum year’s experience:
- Required experience: 1yr recent pharmacy experience, hospital setting preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD or equivalent degree
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
• Strong knowledge of drug therapies, dosing, interactions, and compounding practices
• Experience with electronic medication records and order entry systems (e.g., Pyxis, EPIC)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to function independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and hospital compliance requirements
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
