Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current RN License in state of practice (must be active and unrestricted)
• _BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (must be current)
• _CNOR (Neuro/Orthopedic/Spine Certified Operating Room Nurse) preferred but not required
• EMR: Epic experience is required

Job Description:
Join our team as an OR RN at Health Park Medical Center, providing top-tier care for adult and pediatric patients across a variety of specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery. This position requires a dedicated professional with at least 2 years of operating room experience, including prior pediatric OR experience.

You will work Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Call responsibilities are part of the role, with an average of approximately 4 call shifts per month. Call shifts vary, including evenings from 7 PM to 11 PM, overnight from 7 PM to 7 AM, or backup call from 3 PM to 7 AM. Prior travel experience is highly preferred, and flexibility to float to other campuses is essential.

Main responsibilities include assisting in perioperative patient care, adhering to safety standards, maintaining accurate documentation in Epic EMR, and supporting the surgical team during a diverse range of procedures. You must possess a professional and adaptable attitude, with a culture-focused mindset to integrate seamlessly into the unit.

The role is based within a hospital that values teamwork, quality care, and professional growth. Hard document submission deadline is Monday prior to the start date. All demographic information (address, email, DOB, SSN, RN license number) must be provided at submission for profile confirmation.

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, including pediatric OR experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining patient safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to float between units and campuses as needed
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Eligible to work in the United States with an active RN license, BLS certification, and prior travel experience preferred

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of OR nursing experience
• Pediatric OR experience is mandatory
• Experience working with Epic EMR system
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
