Position Summary
Occupational therapists are needed at a pediatric clinic based in Brooklyn, New York. Opportunities include full-time and part-time schedules. The Occupational Therapist will support school-aged students in a clinic setting, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, self-care, and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Shift details: Monday–Friday, Sundays ongoing
• Hours per week: 20-30 hours
• Contract length: Ongoing

• Key Duties:

• Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy targeting fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, and self-care skills.
• Document treatment sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support developmental and functional goals.

Requirements

• Education

• Required: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Active New York Occupational Therapist license and registration
• NYC DOE fingerprints

Skills:

• Pediatric occupational therapy and developmental assessment
• Sensory integration and fine motor intervention
• Strong communication and collaboration with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams
