Required: • ARRT CT certification • Washington State certification as radiologic technologist • Shimadzu portable experience • Canon Aquilion • EPIC experience • BLS certifications Job Functions: • Prepares for and performs all examinations while operating assigned equipment in a safe manner as instructed. • Evaluates diagnostic image for technical quality. • Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for the effective utilization of the scanner. • Maintains the cleanliness of the scanner and associated minor equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures. • Performs IV access, using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision. • Understands and follows all universal blood and body substance precautions and personal protective equipment requirements. • Complies with all continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities. • Utilizes current EMR efficiently and completes required paperwork for each examination performed. • Lifts and transfers patients using safe ergonomic technique and utilizes the hydraulic lift or other safe patient handling devices. • Communicates with the patient's family members or caregivers when necessary.Facility
