Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Employment Type: Contingent Labor
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Work 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each, Monday through Friday
• Start times between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM
• No on-call required for this schedule
• Receive direction from radiologists, supervisors, and radiology management
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, residents, support personnel, patients, and other healthcare professionals
• Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Use a variety of imaging equipment and technology, maintaining competency through assessments
• Follow strict safety guidelines for self, support staff, and patients
• Communicate effectively to ensure high-quality patient service
• Maintain flexibility to work at various locations, shift times, and lengths as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support optimal patient care

Qualifications & Requirements

• Arizona state license required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (AARTN) or NMTCB certification required
• Preferred experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Organized, efficient, and able to multitask
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to on-call pager including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
