Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Unit

Location: Peoria, Illinois
Specialty: Neuro (CMH Neuro 8C)
Employment Type: Clinical Nursing
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during assigned shifts.
Utilize nursing process, current nursing trends, technology, and resources to deliver care.
Perform all unit-specific responsibilities within the scope of service.
Conduct initial patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized care plans.
Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures based on ongoing evaluation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care for healthcare team use.
Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards and incidents.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.
Identify personal learning needs and pursue appropriate solutions.
Meet all departmental competency requirements.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.

Education

Required: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing)
Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Certifications & Licensure

Illinois state RN License in good standing
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from American Heart Association
