Physical Therapist - FS

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Overview

Perform various therapeutic physical therapy treatments under minimal direction according to physician orders. Evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning. Document treatment results and patient responses. May supervise and assist students during clinical rotations depending on experience. Maintain and clean therapy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders and evaluate patients
• Formulate and adjust treatment plans to meet patient needs
• Instruct patients in home programs
• Document treatment outcomes in medical records
• Participate in discharge planning
• Supervise and assist students during clinical rotations (as applicable)
• Maintain and clean therapy equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Specialty: Physical Therapist
• Experience: None required
• Knowledge/Skills:

  • Principles, methods, and techniques of physical therapy
  • Anatomy and physiology sufficient for patient evaluation and treatment
  • Ability to adjust therapy equipment to patient needs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster patient responsibility
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff
  • Basic computer knowledge

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks (89 days rounded to 13 weeks)
