Job Opportunity: RN - HVI Proc Cath Lab

Location: Urbana, Illinois
Employment Type: Clinical Nursing

Job Description

Provide 1:1 patient care to adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
Complete initial patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs.
Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures as needed.
Administer moderate sedation and other medications safely according to policies.
Perform hemodynamic monitoring, identify life-threatening arrhythmias, and implement appropriate clinical treatments.
Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide emotional support and coordinate safe care delivery.
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice projects.
Work as part of a cohesive team including Registered Nurses and Radiology Technologists.
Fulfill all departmental competency requirements and document procedure events accurately.
Adapt to changes in procedures and respond to emergent situations effectively.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.

Certifications & Licensure

Illinois state RN License in good standing.
BLS (American Heart Association).
ACLS (American Heart Association).

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
