Physical Therapist Opportunity

Location: Miles City, Montana
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Clinical, Non-Nursing

Job Summary

Responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices. The Physical Therapist also consults, educates, and trains patients and their caregivers. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
• Develop treatment plans outlining strategies, purposes, and anticipated outcomes, including exercise regimens for clinic and home to improve flexibility, strength, or endurance.
• Use various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling.
• Determine patients' ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Skills & Experience

• Regular attendance on-site during scheduled business hours or shifts.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Highly organized and analytical.
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Carrying, climbing, crawling, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, walking.
