Description

Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech

Position Overview

Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
Schedule and prepare patients for procedures.
Operate nuclear medicine cameras and auxiliary imaging equipment.
Calibrate instruments and radiopharmaceutical materials.
Ensure radiation safety and proper handling/administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
Document clinical history and symptoms.
Monitor patient physiological status during procedures.
Maintain proficiency in starting IV lines and injection procedures.
Manage inventory and records related to radiopharmaceuticals.
Submit nuclear charge tickets for each patient procedure.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification: ARRT or NMTCB or ASCP certification, California State License, American Heart Association BLS.
Experience: Preferred 1-3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required).

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks).
