Job Summary

Perform MRI procedures ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Interview patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure MRI safety.
• Verify patient identity using two approved patient identifiers at every contact point.
• Explain MRI process and instruct patients to obtain optimal diagnostic results; address patient questions and concerns.
• Safely set up, operate, and adjust MRI equipment, selecting proper technical factors and imaging parameters.
• Ensure safety within magnetic field zone four.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans; adjust immobilization devices and equipment controls; monitor patients during scanning.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe MRI rooms; clean MRI scanners after each use.
• Perform image quality and calibration tests; report equipment malfunctions.
• Manage imaging supplies inventory.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy; ensure proper identification and present images to Radiologist.
• Use electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and access imaging results.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• Experience with relevant MRI equipment.

Contract Length

Approximately 12 weeks (82 days ≈ 12 weeks)
