Description

Job Opportunity: Nurse Supervisor

Location: Brooklyn, New York
Employment Type: Acute - Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks


Job Summary

  • Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance.
  • Monitor patient care performance and assess units with nurse managers.
  • Communicate and assist with corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop record-keeping systems to document medication errors and counseling.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of nursing experience.
    • At least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certifications & Licensure:
    • Registered Nurse (RN) License.
    • Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing.
