Job Summary

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Requirements

Experience

• Clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum RN Med Surg experience required.

Education

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Certification & Licensure
