Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Butte, Montana
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks)
Job Summary
Perform Ultrasound procedures to obtain imaging results according to physician specifications. Responsibilities include patient transfer for examinations, assisting with the Ultrasound process, operating Ultrasound imaging equipment, and ensuring quality and timeliness of patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate all Ultrasound imaging and related equipment appropriately.
- Educate, position, and immobilize patients for Ultrasound procedures.
- Coordinate Ultrasound examinations to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Follow provider imaging orders accurately.
- Submit images and clinical information to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Evaluate image quality effectively.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership.
- Utilize and maintain department supplies properly.
- Practice sterile technique and follow infection prevention policies.
- Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines safely, including patient transfers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist within the last year.
- Must hold a valid license or certification appropriate for an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer.
