Registered Sleep Technologist
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximate)
Job Summary
- Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
- Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs)
- Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, etc.)
- Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation
- Maintain compliance with professional standards of conduct
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Sleep Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring
- Ability to accurately score Sleep Reliability according to HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines
