Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Ortho
Location: Billings, Montana
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
- Provide health teaching and counseling.
- Deliver therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to patient well-being, either directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
- Execute delegated medical functions.
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Use resources as needed.
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
- May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Montana.
- Ability to perform essential nursing duties satisfactorily.
- Meet knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience requirements for the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
