Clinical Lab Technologist - Travel
Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 27 weeks
Job Summary
Performs analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining instruments, troubleshooting assays, evaluating test accuracy, assisting with result interpretation, and supporting laboratory operations. Work involves using multiple computer systems and may include specimen collection. Must adhere strictly to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards. May work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) with at least 1 year of experience
- Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience within the last year
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a biological science
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems
