Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide in-home speech-language pathology services to assist clients with communication deficits under general supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of speech pathology experience in a healthcare setting
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- Certifications/Licensure:
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology
- Current State of Michigan driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Other Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and telephone
- Sufficient physical energy and tolerance to meet job demands
- Knowledge of normal communication processes, development, and disorders to evaluate clients and implement approved treatment techniques
