Clinical Lab Technologist

Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)


Job Summary

Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to assist healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Work involves operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting assays, evaluating test accuracy, assisting with result interpretation, and supporting lab operations. Testing may include manual techniques or automated testing with sophisticated instrumentation. Work may be performed with minimal supervision and may include specimen collection. Strict adherence to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards is required.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Medical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a biological science
  • Ability to accommodate scheduling adjustments, including off-shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekend work assignments
