Clinical Lab Technologist
Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Clinical Allied
Job Summary
- Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to assist healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot assays, and evaluate test accuracy.
- Assist with interpreting results and provide operational support to optimize testing capabilities.
- Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
- May assist with specimen collection and work with minimal supervision.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards is required.
Contract Length
- Approximately 52 weeks (1 year)
Work Schedule
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Week 2 and beyond: Tuesday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 1:30 am (10-hour shifts)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a biological science.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Technician, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Proficient in operation of laboratory instrumentation.
- Skilled in troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and assay systems.
