Description

Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Location: Butte, Montana
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

  • Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
  • Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
  • Provide health teaching, counseling, therapy, and restorative treatment directly or through delegation and supervision.
  • Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
  • Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
  • Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
  • Utilize resources effectively.
  • May float to other departments within scope of competency.
  • May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Montana.
  • Ability to perform all essential nursing duties satisfactorily.
  • Must meet knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience requirements.
  • Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
