Radiographer II

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform advanced-level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision.
  • Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned (e.g., surgery, trauma, pediatrics).
  • Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic exams and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
  • Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and/or film output issues.
  • Serve as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and/or students.
  • May participate in training programs to enhance skills in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures.
  • Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the primary area of responsibility.

Shift

  • Overnight shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • One shift of call per month

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician, including experience within the last year.
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
  • Experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
  • Certification or registration with ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
