Description

Nuclear Medicine Tech I

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Clinical Allied
Contract Length: 16 weeks


Job Summary

  • Produce high-quality nuclear medicine images meeting established radiology standards.
  • Operate a variety of nuclear medicine equipment and technology.
  • Follow safety guidelines for patients, staff, and self.
  • Communicate effectively to foster teamwork.
  • Maintain flexibility to work at various locations, shifts, and shift lengths.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Florida
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Certification as CNMT or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine)
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Experience with Nuclear Medicine equipment and procedures, including handling F-18 FDG and Siemens PET scanners.
