Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU Pediatrics

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks)
Shift: Requires Level 1 experience and CVICU experience

Job Description

Provide nursing care under general supervision to pediatric patients in a hospital setting with cardiovascular intensive care needs. Responsibilities include:

Managing an assigned group of patients and documenting responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments.
Assisting physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Monitoring physiological data and intervening as necessary.
Administering medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
Delivering competent patient care and communicating care plans to patients and families.
Informing patients and families about hospital procedures and making referrals for additional care needs.
Delegating tasks to support staff as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
CVPICU experience with a minimum of 1 year, including experience within the last year
Level 1 experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
