Work Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Job Description

  • Provide nursing care to pediatric ICU patients under general supervision.
  • Manage an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to treatments and changes in physician orders.
  • Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
  • Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
  • Communicate care plans with patients and families, including at discharge.
  • Make referrals for patient care needs and delegate tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience within the last year.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
