Position patients on examining table and place specified coils (e.g., head coil, knee coil) near area of interest following Radiologist protocols
Use microphone system to communicate with patients during examination
Enter patient data, scan orientation, and anatomical area into MRI computer system
Operate MRI equipment by specifying scan sequences and adjusting transmitters/receivers
Monitor patient safety and comfort through control room window and closed-circuit TV
Review images on video display to ensure quality
Photograph images using camera keyboard
Alert staff about metal hazards in magnet room
Perform other duties as assigned

MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
MR Certification
BLS Certification
