Work Schedule

• 4x10 hour shifts (40 hours per week)
• Rotating day off per week
• Call as needed

Job Summary

• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of a mentor/preceptor.
• Provides specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
• Supports medical staff in diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions.
• Works in various care settings including acute inpatient, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote outreach clinics.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
• Use specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation and technical quality meet protocols and accreditation standards.
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate records and exercise discretion with confidential information.
• Work independently with attention to detail and remain calm under stress.

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, with experience within the last year
• Certification by ARDMS or CCI
• ARRT certifications in Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Radiography, and Vascular Interventional Radiography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• No prior travel experience required; candidates without travel experience will be considered
