Required Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience
- Wound and colostomy experience
Required Education:
- Associate's Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
- AHA BLS
- Current certification in one of the following:
- Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) issued by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB)
- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) issued by the WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) issued by the WOCNCB
- Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) issued by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM)
- Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) issued by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO)
QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE
