Job Summary:<ul><li>Primary responsibility for nursing care and patient safety during endoscopic/invasive procedures with or without sedation.</li><li>Demonstrates interpersonal, critical thinking, and efficiency skills.</li><li>Serves as a resource for students and new caregivers.</li><li>Participates in quality improvement processes.</li></ul>Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborates with Pre-operative RN to assess patient needs and procedure requirements.</li><li>Develops, implements, and communicates individualized care plans.</li><li>Addresses patient comfort and health information requests.</li><li>Applies aseptic practices and ensures compliance within the surgical team.</li><li>Supports and educates patients and families.</li><li>Utilizes evidence-based research to enhance patient outcomes.</li><li>Evaluates and modifies care plans as needed, communicating changes to the healthcare team.</li><li>Participates in activities to improve patient care and the healthcare environment.</li><li>Documents equipment use and manages inventory for accurate charging and availability.</li><li>Promotes organizational mission, vision, and values.</li><li>May float to other departments or nursing units as needed.</li><li>May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.</li></ul>Required Education:<ul><li>Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma.</li></ul>Preferred Education:<ul><li>Not applicable.</li></ul>Required Certification &amp; Licensure:<ul><li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).</li><li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA).</li><li>Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment start.</li></ul>Preferred Certification &amp; Licensure:<ul><li>Not applicable.</li></ul> QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE Work Authorization : US Citizen Preferred years of experience : 1 years Travel required : No travel required Shift timings :
