Radiologic Technologist I – Urgent Care

Location

• California, Vacaville area
• Work between two urgent care locations (no mid-shift floating)

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

Work Schedule

• Full-time (1.0 FTE), approximately 40-44 hours per week
• Urgent Care operating hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am – 7pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9am – 5pm
• Overtime after 40 hours/week; double time after 12 hours/day

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic examinations following established protocols and QA criteria
• Assist and instruct patients before and during exams
• Ensure patient safety and well-being throughout examinations
• Evaluate radiographic studies for quality standards
• Produce images, burn CDs, print films, organize paperwork, and complete requisition data
• Inspect and clean radiographic equipment prior to use
• Report equipment malfunctions and patient complaints according to QA policies
• Assist with clerical duties, front desk tasks, and patient rooming during downtime
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
• Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
