Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs, determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and develops individualized care plans. Responsibilities also include performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and documenting care based on standards of practice. The RN advocates for evidence-based practices and provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing models. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 recent years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience.
• Strong background in Telemetry.
• Tele certification.
• ASN degree.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS - AHA certification.
• ACLS - AHA certification.
• PALS certification.
• Telemetry certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of PACU experience.
• BSN degree.
