Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process and current nursing trends.
Perform initial patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.
Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards and incidents.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to resolve issues and support patient care.
Provide constructive feedback to peers and engage in professional development.
Identify personal learning needs and pursue appropriate solutions.
Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
Illinois state Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
