Required: Current chemotherapy certification with at least 1 year of chemotherapy experience required. Shift varies between 8-12 hours shifts, must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Open 7 days/week. Current chemotherapy certification with at least 1 year of chemotherapy experience required. Requires ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patient responses, assisting physicians during procedures, educating patients and families, and coordinating follow-up care. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and proficiency in nursing techniques.
Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Basic computer skills
Required Education:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Preferred Education:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
