Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Responsibilities also include performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and documenting care based on standards of practice. The RN advocates for evidence-based care standards and supports the adoption of innovations in care delivery, providing patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care and PACU experience
• Strong background in Telemetry
• Telemetry certification
• Pediatric experience
• ASN degree
• BLS - AHA certification
• ACLS - AHA certification
• PALS certification
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of PACU experience
• BSN degree
