Job Title: Staff Nurse

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevents illness and injury, and alleviates suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and advocacy in the care of individuals and families. The RN is responsible for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications:
- Nursing (RN) experience of 6 months to 3 years
- Management experience of 0 to 3 years
- 5+ years of direct experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Current NYS RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
- Unit-specific requirements listed in the Compliance Matrix
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned
