Description

Job Title: RN - Rehab - Contract - MSM

Location: Mount Sinai Morningside

Contract Length: Not specified

Job Summary: The RN in Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside delivers patient care using the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patient care needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers, and managing assignments within the Care Delivery Model. The RN ensures quality and safety, engages in process improvement, and supports professional development while maintaining a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.

Required Qualifications:

Active NYS RN License
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
2 years of rehabilitation and mechanical ventilation experience
1 year of travel experience (for travel positions only)
EPIC experience highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program
