Job Summary: Performs laboratory analyses and quality testing independently, following well-defined criteria under minimal supervision. Maintains strict confidentiality of work-related information and collaborates effectively with patients, the public, and healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• ASCP or NCA registered
• A.S. in Medical Laboratory Technology or Associates degree with prerequisite coursework and clinical training
• In lieu of an Associates degree, candidate must meet the alternate route requirements for education and training as set forth by ASCP or NCA
• Capable of operating laboratory instrumentation
• Proficient in performing patient phlebotomy
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and computer terminals
