Job Summary: The RN in the Emergency Department is responsible for delivering competent and appropriate nursing care to patients across all stages of growth and development, from pediatric to geriatric. This role involves performing thorough assessments, demonstrating clinical skills, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring patient satisfaction. The RN adheres to safety protocols, provides patient education, and supports pre-admission testing and perioperative care. Professionalism and accountability are key aspects of this role, with a focus on contributing to a collaborative patient care environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in Critical Care, Cardiac, or Emergency Department
• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification (required for pediatric ER only)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
