Description
Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed
Required - "Interventional Technologist - 4X10's
BLS / ACLS required
Manager WILL consider candidates with NO Travel and NO Trauma experience
13 or 26 week contract available
call as needed, rotating day off per week
Candidates must have completed one of the following ( entry into practice) education programs :
( specific program taken must be clearly noted on resume)
*Associate Degree or above program in Radiologic Technology OR *2 year RCIS program"

Job Title: Interventional Technologist I
Location: Not specified
Job Summary: The Interventional Technologist I assists Physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat simple to complex conditions, defects, and/or diseases without surgery. This position is intended for those who are gaining experience in Interventional Radiology or Invasive Cardiology or are experienced Imaging professionals who wish to begin a career in the discipline.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge and skill in applying principles of medical imaging, positioning of patients, and medical ethics.
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology associated with specialty imaging procedures.
- Ability to apply theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation.
- Consistent application of sterile field knowledge to ensure a safe environment for the patient.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide care appropriate to the age and patient populations served.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply HIPAA guidelines and standards.
- Ability to prioritize and complete clinical or non-clinical work assignments.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Consistency and dependability in reporting to work as scheduled.
- Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
Required Education:
- Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science (e.g., cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI.
- Completion of JRCERT-accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
- ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.
