Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and recommend a treatment plan for communication disorders of speech and language. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, documenting client progress, and assisting students in clinical rotations.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the normal development of speech, language, and hearing
- Ability to perform diagnostic tests for communication disorders and formulate treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal skills with customers, co-workers, and clients
- Ability to interact in a patient, encouraging manner with clients
- Patience in handling clients with high frustration levels
Required Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association (required upon hire)
