Job Title:
Radiology Tech CWR
Location:
New Jersey
Contract Length:
Every 3rd weekend, holiday required. No on-call.
Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This includes producing diagnostic radiographic examinations, performing portable x-ray examinations, assisting physicians with radiopaque contrast media, and completing administrative duties related to patient care and record maintenance. The role requires adherence to organizational competencies and the ability to modify care based on patient needs.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements
- Must possess New Jersey State License
- Applicant must meet the requirements for the National Registry and pass the examination
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- Ability to work independently in emergency rooms and trauma patient care
- OR experience
- Experience with portable x-rays
- Pediatric experience
Additional Information:
- Shift: 5x8, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Physical requirements: Lifting a minimum of 5 lbs., pushing and pulling a minimum of 10 lbs., standing a minimum of 6 hours a day
