Job Title:

• Radiographer (Radiologic Technologist)

Location:

• Hospital setting (fixed unit and/or mobile unit in IPD/OR/ER)

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Radiographer performs radiologic procedures to evaluate pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Responsibilities include determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices. The role involves patient preparation, equipment setup, and adherence to department protocols to ensure optimal patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of hire).
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
• Completion of required hours of continued education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in teaching/educating new hires and students.
