Job Summary:
The Surgical Technologist serves as a primary scrub person or assistant for operative procedures. Responsibilities include surgical preparation, assisting during surgical cases, post-case cleanup, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of experience.
• Technical Diploma from a Surgical Technologist accredited program or comparable military training.
• BLS certification.
• One of the following certifications: NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS‑C).
• Demonstrates accountability, effective communication, collaboration, and professionalism in interactions with internal and external customers.

Additional Information:

• Completes all mandatory hospital education and maintains compliance with HR and Employee Health requirements.
• Follows all safe practices in the OR and completes age-specific annual competency assessments.
