Description

Job Title: Paducah-Surgical Tech - First Assist

Location: Paducah

Contract Length: Not specified

Job Summary: Assist surgeon in performing surgical procedures and function as the surgeon’s chief assistant in the operating room. Supervised by the department director and nurse manager, with assignments received from the charge nurse and/or RN in charge of the room.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from a Surgical Technologist program or comparable military training.
Completion of Surgical First Assistant Program.
BLS certification.
NBSTSA Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA).

Preferred Qualifications:

6 to 12 months of experience.

Additional Information:

This position is for a CVOR CFA. Candidates must have CVOR experience.
